Day 1 Done!

So, change of plans. I remember @dostovel saying that he would be making a sword wedged into a rock, so I decided to redo my scene somewhat. The sword will still be have jewels and whatnot; I have quite the soft spot for the flamboyant. More specifically, it will be a Schiavona, pictured below:

So now that I’ve forgone the Excalibur scene, I gone with something a little more unique. A decrepit treasure, an ancient curse and a gloomy atmosphere await. The scene is of the sword being encased in a museum but something isn’t quite right. Got the basic scene blocked out along with some simple materials, looking forward to seeing how this will pan out.

 

(Just realized the handle is off center, need to fix that…)

Need a more elaborate background of course, but hopefully I can get it done. Been having a lot of health problems due to stress recently (mostly related to expecting a lot out of myself when it comes to 3D) so I’m taking it a bit easier than usual, but I’m looking forward to updating you all and I wish you all the best of luck!
