I agree with the others; the concepts and principles are transferable between tools. Employers don’t care what tool you use as long as you know how to make the product. It’s like learning to play an instrument; once you know how to read music, it doesn’t matter what instrument you play. Sure, you’ll have to make some adjustments to that specific instrument, but you know 80% of musical concepts already. Honestly, what’s taught in 2.7 is very translatable to 2.8. Sure, there are some UI and shortcut changes, but again, you already know how to model, you just need to learn the tool’s quirks. You got this.
