      In case, if you have save the texture image and you load the project and the 3d model dont get textured, just select Image > Replace Image and choose the texture image, after the texture image loaded, it will display the texture to the 3d object and then save the project. Next time you load the project again, it will automatically textured the 3d model. At least this worked for me.
