How do I get the axis to stay on the cursor? In the video, you duplicate the lamps and rotate around the cursor where the axis is located as well. Everytime I click on a object the axis goes to the center of the object. I’m sure it is a simple answer just can’t figure it out.

You simply need to choose a different pivot point. Look in your 3D view’s header where you have Mode Select, then Viewport Shading type, then Pivot Point. From that menu choose “3d Cursor” to transform all your selected objects according to the cursor’s position.
