Am I doing something wrong?
It looks like very low roughness value for the Glossy BSDF causes the issue. If I increase it to 0.05 it pretty much removes the speckles and makes the picture look much more natural.
Interesting solution. Up till now I didn’t know the glossy roughness could have such an effect on fireflies. I would have guessed multiple importance sampling for lights..thanks for following up on your comment!
