William… as Miranda and Aaron stated, it’s a calm atmosphere and good use of different primitives. It’s peaceful looking. It’s almost like you could transport that bench, basket, and sign and have the same calming affect. Substitute the road for a pond and simple ducks and it’s a country scene, Put a tree or two and change the road to a running path and suddenly you’re sitting in a quiet little park. I like it a lot for its simplicity.
I’m hijacking your thread for a moment to show that even the simplest of scenes can be moving. These two scenes from the prior class absolutely stunned me 1) because of their simple nature and 2) the emotion it evokes.

Both are so simple, yet so profound. You almost feel like you should be next the the bunny or the cube-skier taking in the beauty of the moon. Scenes don’t have to be complicated to move others. I know this is a modeling class and such, but for whatever reason I felt this needed being said.
And please don’t get me wrong, I enjoy all the submissions because they’re all so different and creative and fun, and I appreciate seeing other people’s workflows. But there’s something to be said for simplicity.
