To work in efficient way I always try to use as many key-shortcuts as possible. But I can not figure out how to make Extrude working for me. There is only one option in Blender User Preferences -> Input: Extrude and move on normals. When I use it there are no options and all faces move always along one line. Is there any option to make it more user friendly? How can I make it more like it is in Maya, or Max?

The extrude tool which is under 3D View > Mesh does not work for me, I rarely want to use it since it moves all the faces in the same direction.

(missclick… that was not the whole message 😛 )
The problem is that I can not find any other extrude in shortcuts’ menu. Where can I “change the operator in the hotkey to mesh.extrude_region_move”? I do not understand that part.
