      At 4:50 in this video, when he scales in the loop & cut, it moves in like a bevel. when I try to do the exact same thing; all the vertical vertices drag in on the corners of the cube, and it does not look the same. what am I doing wrong? thank you!

          nvm, woops, I figured it out. when he does the extrude first, he adds additional geometry to the horizontal vertices that creates the bevel… jeez that took me forever.

              Yep that part is confusing! How does he get the geometry like that? Mine always comes out in odd faces and shapes.
