In regard to edge-select-mode.

Whenever I click an edge (in edge-select mode), the edge I click is NOT selected, but instead a (seemingly) random edge is selected instead. This gives me zero precision in this mode, as I cannot select the edges I want. Please advise.

Thank you for your quick reply! Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem for me. I’m using nouveau drivers on a GNU/Linux system. Video card works fine when I play 3d games. Luckily, vertex and face select works perfectly fine.
