It’s funny you mention the haircut. It seems to be a theme that a lot of people feel their sculptures are missing the mark in the facial features somehow, but then they add hair and the likeness improves dramatically just from that. I guess it goes to show that a person’s hairstyle is just as important a feature as the shape of their nose or the length of their chin.
