do the earphones have a separate driver ? I had to change the Audio settings in the user preference > system to get mine to work 🙁
Im only on an old laptop and changed mine to OpenAL, possibly toggling that might help kickstart.
or if their USB headphones, mine show as a separate device, and they mute the other output (main speakers).
