You can hand edit the placement of leaves and branches by clicking on the control points. On the branches you’ll see square boxes and on the leaves you’ll see circular control points. If you left click and drag those you can move them around. It can be a bit tedious and I believe if you hand edit them you can’t use procedural settings anymore, so it’s one or the other.
