Just to clear some things up this isn’t a self-critique or anything, but I want to share this context so if anyone wants to give feedback, it helps them understand.

I am approximately 10 months into learning Blender and 3D in general, and this was my first project where I wanted to create at least more than 30 objects just to learn and practice modeling. I also tried to make a cohesive scene out of it, and that’s it.

The props are not 100% the same as my reference images; they are probably about 80% to 90% accurate. Some I wasn’t able to make exactly the same, and some I did not want to because I already put over 6 months into completely finishing this (i started this after 3 months of learning basic stuffs ) . If I tried to make them a 100% exact match, it would have taken way too much time, and I really want to move on to sculpting and retopology now, so I didn’t. Also, to give myself more of a challenge, I tweaked some of the models so they would be challenging and unique, rather than just a 100% copy, so I could learn more from the process.

I did not follow any YouTube tutorials for the modeling at all; everything was made by me just by asking questions online. many peoples in this community helped a lot too they gave me a really good understanding of topology rules and I am grateful for that. thank you very, very much everyone. However, I did watch some tutorials for cloth simulation to do the curtains, pillow, and bedsheets (I will definitely improve on that).

That’s all! If you want to give some critique, please do, I would really appreciate it. Also, my final goal is to become an environment artist, so if you have any specific tips for that, please share!

            That turned out fantastic, Deb!

I’d say that was well worth the ‘trouble’ and time investment, don’t you agree?

Really great result. Worthy of carrying along to lighting, materials, texturing etc. 🙂
