Hi, Can someone please tell me why I’m getting these geometry lines/artifacts in my rocks? I’m not sure if these are supposed to be there or something I need to correct. If I need to correct them, can you tell me what to check/change/share?

      Thanks!

        Hi Josh,

A screenshot of your Node Tree would be helpful.

Like Martin says, a screen shot of the node tree would also be helpful…

One of the lines appears to be because of the joining of two rock formations… You see this in a few places already (the one just above the middle one and the one off to the right, for example) but on that one formation they just happen to form at a nearly perfectly matching point. It’s possible the other two lines on that one formation could be the same thing, but it’s really hard to tell just by looking at the image alone.

Perhaps this is one of those cases where the blend file would be useful. Feels like a lot of tinkering needs to go into that. If it’s not as simple as two objects colliding.
