What is the best way to learn Blender

We always say the same thing every time we see the question. The key is, the same as everything else, practice, practice, practice, and practice a lot. It’s as simple as that, the more you do it, the more your brain will get it. After you set your mind to it, all you need is good training, and you have arrived at the place where all the best raining is at. Everyone that finds CG Cookie always says the same thing, man I’m glad I found this place, I am learning so much, I was tired of YouTube, etc. 

New tutorials come out all the time.. but just because a new one came out doesn’t mean you have to do it now. If you have a project or another course that you’re working on, keep going. Too often we think we’ll “miss out” if we don’t do it now, but this can lead to that “stacking” Jonathan was talking about. (I’m currently working through a course that’s almost 5 years old… which I find hard to believe it’s that old already!)

And let your personal projects guide your learning. The fastest way off the “learning hamster wheel” is to make your own projects using what you’ve learned already. If you run into a problem you can’t figure out how to solve, that’s when you dip back into a tutorial to learn that bit that you need to finish your project.

The other side of that is just because you start a tutorial to learn a specific thing doesn’t mean you have to finish it.If you’ve learned what you needed, you’re good. And if you want to explore the rest, you can always come back to it to finish it later!
