Hey all! 👋
I’m curious to see how Blender users (mostly animators / riggers, but anyone) in the industry have “Auto Run Python Scripts” set in their preferences? The setting determines whether Python scripts – like custom rig UIs, utilities, etc. – are automatically loaded, which can improve (or impact lol) scene stability, usability, and workflow.
I’ve made a 1 question survey (multiple choice – no need to even type) to help collect the answers if anyone wouldn’t mind completing it 🙂
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PSKFN37
Just asks you to select one of these 4 answers:
- 🟢Enabled – Always turned on.
- 🟢Enabled, but reviewed – Always on, but we review scripts after.
- 🟠Disabled, but flexible – Off by default, but enabled for individual files when necessary.
- 🔴Disabled – We don’t use or need files with custom scripts.
Let me know your approach / thoughts! 🙂
