      I keep trying to do this step and when I make the walls the bevel modifier shows on the right but doesnt show on the object. I have redone it like 5 times and cant figure it out.

        There could be a coupe of things going on. Can you add some screenshots? A simple thing could be just applying the scale with Control + A.

          Hi Chris,

          yes, we need more information. Maybe you are in Edit Mode and don’t have the Edit Mode display Button enabled:
