I was wondering why you chose to unwrap the strap as deformed instead of unwrapping it when it was flat then shaping it.

        Hi Kate,

good question! Moving Vertices (Face Corners) around, when an Object is already Unwrapped, can cause unwanted stretching of the Texture.

        For instance:

One day, when A.I rules everything, things like this will stay in the past since A.I will be fixing things on the background without us noticing it. Then we will forget how problem solving worked, then we will get useless and even forget how to walk like people in Wall-E and then A.I will take over peacefully and there wont even be a war. Yep I have just predicted the future here on a post about UV’s. But yeah as Martin said, you don’t want to be moving things around after you have unwrapped them, it’ll cause stretching and errors and stuff. Unwrap only after you are done with modeling I’d say, as a rule of thumb.
