Cant get a longer version of the loop

I cant connect the loop to this point. My loop is stuck in this lower part.

That is because you have an Ngon there and loops only go through quads, meaning faces with four vertices. The vertex you have circled in red would make that face have 5 vertices, so the loop doesn’t go through. You can select both the vertices you want to connect and hit J to connect.
