The grease pencil object and the lights can not be joined. How to I get the effects of the lights on the grease pencil lighting bolt? I am thinking you could bake them on. But how?

when i put the grease pencil with the lights into a collection. it could be made  a asset, but it can not be edited anymore.

You use library overrides if you’re using linked. If you’re using append the. You just make instances real(Ctrl+a). Then you can edit it. Note: not everything is editable when using library overrides.

Currently, no you cannot bake light information onto a grease pencil object. It does not share the same material set up as other objects. That lights effect it is more a “nice to have” than something that is of further use. I don’t know if Grease Pencil 3.0 will make this possible, but I am keeping an eye on it.
