      Blender Weekend Modeling Challenge 🍄

      Are you open-minded enough to try something this weekend? Last week, I challenged you to model a bench I found while walking along the beach. 

      This week, we’re ramping it up a bit. 😄

      I love modeling toys. Perhaps it’s nostalgia, or I’m still a kid at heart. This week’s model appears to be complex, though when broken down into shapes, it can be approached slowly and simply. 

      3D Modeling fundamentals are your friend here. Loop cuts, extrude, repeat. 

      The materials are simple and you’re welcome to change out stickers and colors!

      I want to challenge you to model this object 100% in Blender. Please share it below.

        I too like modeling toys.  It was hard for me to tell how the top attached to the bottom.  This is the web site with the truck and a few more pictures, which I found helpful. https://nikkotoys.com/product/city-service-tow-truck-8-20cm/.

              i’m not completely thrilled. the front took me about 6-7 hours and still doesn’t look good. some parts can be improved but today is my deadline, so i’m posting it like this.

                  I’ve finished modeling the toy truck! 🎉🚛

                  It was a fun challenge to create the truck in Blender.I couldn’t resist making a video of the toy truck

                  and add a driver 😅

                  Thanks for the challenge! It was a great way to enhance my modeling skills/animation

                      This is my truck result, it is too late now. I spent time studying some parts of it. But in the end, I am happy with the final rendering.
