Chair not snapping to volume center (Torus)

Done exactly as in the video, but my chair won’t snap to the torus at all. Blender 4.1.

Hello. Can you post some screenshots or maybe better a screen grab video to see what is going on and we can troubleshoot. It can be as simple as you have the magnet icon on and when you’re pressing control you’re inverting the function and turning it off. It can be a snapping setting or just being in vertex span and trying to snap to an edge.

Double check the snapping settings (centre, volume, move) and snapping is enabled.
The chair will snap to where your mouse is pointing, press G and move your mouse over the torus.

Nevermind, it’s all good. I misunderstood how it should function, so I didn’t notice it actually working until I deleted the planes in the scene.
