now finally i placed my reference images and the objective to the middle with the origin and the 3d cursor. i end up see the console very wierdly . i cant see the edges black. its mixing between black and white. and if i hide the console bottom parts so i can work with the top . some edges – particles are still visible .
That is indeed, like Omar says a visualisation of the Bevel Modifier.
I usually leave it off in Edit Mode (the left of those three buttons, like a square with four vertices), because I find it a visual distraction when modeling.
i got to say. i am really find for myself so much extra errors that i need to ask . Just by seeing the amount i ask in the comments. its truly embarassing in a certain way. Truly both of you cover almost more than half of my blender time just with the comment section by helping me answer my questions. i probably would bleed out quite fast alone.
That’s the whole benefit of learning here, so absolutely use it. Martin and Omar are amazing and usually answer before I even see the question. Glad you’re making your way through!
