Blender 4.0.2 No Clearcoat for ending finishing touches at end of video

It has Coat option, which I assume was correct. Bumped some roughness and then used weight. I think it does the same thing. I’m just a beggar, er..I mean beginner so would this be correct. Moving on!

You are absolutely correct: Coat is just a ‘better’ name (with high Roughness, a Clearcoat wouldn’t be very clear…)

You are correct. Coat has been shifted in the mixing layer under the hood(So to speak). Also it now has a Tint so it’s not always clear. It can now simulate lacquer and other types of finish/coating effects.
