Unable to find Hair > Shape: “Ribbons” to make grass flat under Rendering tab

I understand the Hair section in the rendering tab has been renamed to Curves, but I cannot find an option to make the grass flat as in the tutorial. The only two shape options I have are Rounded Ribbons and 3d Curves, neither of which make the grass flat. Couldn’t figure it out by googling it or in the manual either. Please advise.

Unfortunately, it looks like having it rendered flat is just no longer an option. I’d go with Rounded Ribbons instead of 3d Curves in this case since it’ll render a bit faster, and we don’t care about refraction or anything fancy.
