Similar to below issue, can’t mark as asset

Hi everyone, I have an issue when I try to mark my tree as an asset in Blender 3.4.1
When I right-click on my tree in object mode, it only highlights the branches and when I mark as asset it creates an asset of only the branches.
If I go ahead and select all the items contained in Tree_A and try to mark as asset, it creates separate assets for each item.
I tried creating a collection as well and marking that as an asset, but it also just saves the branches.
Must just be a noob issue, could anyone help me out?
Hi @Swissmountain ,
If there is a Parenting Relation between the Branches and Trunk, you’ll need to put both in a Collection, not just the Parent (otherwise the Child will only be ‘Linked’ in the Collection and not be Marked as Asset):
