color atrribute dont effect hair

im trying to paint a color attribute but its only effect the emmiter but not hair. what could be the problem?

Hi Doran,

That video is not helping me at all, but maybe you are using a different Material for the Hair than for the Emitter?

If you can provide a link to your .blend, that would be helpful, if this is not what’s causing the problem…

the emitter and the hair have the same material.

Hi Doran,

I can imagine you being stumped…and to be honest, I am not sure what exactly happens here, but, if you change the Color Attribute Domain like this:

and maybe switch between Rendered and Solid Mode, to ‘refresh’, it looks like it’s working…

Love the Head, by the way! That’s already looking fantastic!
