Guidance for how to refine basic sketch into model sheet?

I have a character designed, and have a few dynamic poses and emotions specced out for her – how do I get from that to a usable model sheet so I can try to 3D-model her? Is there a course for that?

I’m not sure how you’d go about at creating a turn table to have as a modeling sheet, but I bet if you already made some cool drawings with poses, you can probably achieve technical drawings of your character in orthographic view.
