Genuinely the first likeness I’ve seen that is indistinguishable from a photograph! Incredible.

Lincoln never imagined he would be sculpted on a computer, in a 3D program and be plastered on a PNG, the dude didn’t even know what electricity was. Nowadays, we inadvertently leave digital traces of ourselves, imagine what people 200 years from now will do with the stuff we are leaving behind. Maybe in a couple hundred years someone will take Kent’s tutorials, his voice, his likeness and simulate his consciousness in his robot lookalike and make him teach private lessons against his will. What a future, it’s not weird at all.

I doubt he imagined he would be sculpted on Mount Rushmore either Omar.

And rocks existed during his time, what a world. I just thought of a millions of dollars idea… sculpt Lincoln out of air, so it’s already there, I’m done. You know, like those modern art pieces, like the banana on a tape.

People like Kent that tangibly impacted the trajcetory of 3D art will be immortalized as forced instructors. The rest of us will be fodder for training super-advanced art AIs.
