After having been coding in blender python for the last 1.5 years I am finding how at home I felt seeing the driver and custom properties used in an expression. This was not the case before. It was one of those aha moments where I looked back and realized this used to be way over my head and now it isn’t. I think that means I learned something!

My favorite is the linear extrapolated curve too! Nice and simple
