Hey Christian, I think this sometimes happens when the solver doesn’t know how to find a solution, so my guess is that something about the way the two geometries are lining up could be tweaked. If you move around the cutter object, does the pot flicker at all? It could be that the cutter needs to be pushed further into the pot or that two vertices need to not be exactly on top of each other. If nothing else you could also just use Exact since we’ll be applying the modifier soon anyway, or you can share the file and I’ll check it out.
