      Kent thank you very much, this share is very generous!

      Beside of that the assets look absolutely awesome, they give also the occassion to test a little bit my computer with the final models, whether being ready for the November course.. 🙂

      As an information also for others – a 2 years ago bought Acer Nitro 5 laptop with parameters Core i7-8750H, RAM: 32GB DDR4, Nvidia GTX1050Ti 4GB opens the big files easily and also fast rotating around Simon (per the Statistics option look with 1.7 M vertices)

      Switching on the  Viewport Shading the Path Tracing Sample needs some time till going to 100 (around 2 minutes) with each new focus on the face, however presumably during the course not often will be need for such a resolution, just in the really final stage

        Zsolt! I’m glad to read this feedback! I was a bit skeptical that laptops would be able to open / navigate these scene files OK. Thanks for testing this out.

        I use the rendered viewport a lot through the course but A) it’s always a small window and B) it’s rarely everything in the scene. Usually just focused on the skin or one hair element at a time. But yes, even on my PC the full asset takes 20-30 seconds to fully clean up in the viewport.

          Thx for sharing that useful information.

          I am actually looking for a second hand laptop with gtx1660+ or even 2060, and a good 6+cores CPU, 16(+)RAM to  Blender when not on my home desktop.

          At least for the many allready laptop owners, your shared information won’t make them panic-upgrading.

            I picked up the 2021 model of the Acer Predator Helios 300 with an Intel i7-10750H CPU, RTX 3060 with 16GB of GDDR4 running at 3000mhz and all the project files open, render, and navigate beautifully. The only issue I ran in to is if you go to render an image with the viewport in rendered view, you’ll get an “out of GPU memory error”. As long as you’re in wireframe, solid, or texture view, it’ll render just fine. Just something to keep in mind
