      @kenanproffitt I’m wondering whether there’re case in which one should prefer using a “Green Screen” wheras in other cases it’s maybe better to record your footage with a “Blue Screen”. Why did you use a “Blue Screen”?

        @duerer I would suggest it comes down to contrast with the subject when deciding.

        But I like blue more than green, so I would go with blue, and green clashes with my eyes.

          @duerer  it is all about masking; if you have a bunch of Irish people on St. Patrick’s Day, a Green Screen might not be the best idea ;)e

          As far as I know, Blue Screens were common ‘in the old days’ and for some reason they mainly switched to Green.

            Thanks, @adrian2301 , this sounds plausible 👍! If I remember correctly, then the human eye is especially sensible to green. Maybe the screen color also plays a role when it comes to color spill in the sense that blue color spill is maybe less obvious than green color spill.

             By the way: Has anybody ever used a Redscreen 😉😁?!

              @spikeyxxx This makes perfect sense 👍! And a bunch of Smurfs in front of a bluescreen … 🤣🤣🤣

              So, I’ll stick with my greenscreen unless I want to record some “Alien Abduction” footage with my green “Sprite Fight” t-shirt 😉.
