      i tried to make the scene by myself and wasn’t seeing any difference with the portal’s light, so i opened your file and your HDR was a white field with a lot of light, so i went back to mine and made a white color bg with a strength of 10 and it worked perfectly.

      Can we use portal to direct other lights, or it would be better to add new sources instead? Any hints on that would be awesome, thanks in advance.

        Great question! Portals are only useful when working with HDRIs and they do not effect other light types.
