      I had to add the rigify add-on in order for that option to appear.

        I believe that the default condition is that without rigify enabled that single bone is your only option under add armature…

          Hi Cheyrn.

          Yes, that is mentioned several times during many of the videos.  Sorry you missed it, but glad you figured it out.

          As I explained, when Rigify is enabled, it will create a sub-menu and the “Single Bone” is the same as adding an “Armature” when Rigify is not enabled.

          Hope that helps clarify things.

            Oh, I thought comments were tied to the video. I gather you say it in another video.

            In “connecting the armature” it says to use single bone and to ignore the other options because they come from an addon that you use, without saying what addon. I had no “single bone option” so I thought I’d share that the option appears if you use rigify.
