Add an extra vertex?

At around 8:00 you show how your arm looks with more detail. How did you get that extra vertex there on the forearm? I couldn’t extrude from just a line.

Nevermind :). If you are a noob like me, just go into edge select. Right-click an edge and subdivide. One of my first mistakes I found out quickly on mine. Pretty happy about that.

Ha, has happened to us all at some point! You got it, I just went ahead and subdivided those vertices into that edge, which let me further extrude more vertices from those. 🙂
