      Am on the part of the snowmen course where he saw you how to straighten the scarf UV but am having troubles figuring it out I made sure to select a prefect square and press follow active quads like he did to straighten his scarf UV but instead of straightening the UV it looks like this.

        You will need to straighten the face first.

        Find a face (somewhere in the middle is normally good) where the edges of the face are fairly horizontal and vertical,

        select the top edge of the face you choose, right click and choose Align Auto,

         repeat for all 4 edges of the face,

        then with face select mode select the face you just aligned and right click and Follow Active Quads.

        This should now straighten the UV’s.

        Eat cookies and carry on.
