      Hi,

I wanted detail my clothing with adding high detail sewing lines and puckering. Although I’m using high quality alphas, I wasn’t unable to achieve a great result as people get on Zbrush. So I’m asking how I can create highly detailed sewing lines and puckering for my clothes? What is the industry standard of doing that?

        Hello!

If you could give us more information on your workflow it might help us give better advice. For instance, are you working on an object using dyntopo or remesh? Or a retopologized object with multi-resolution?

I can say that ZBrush has a method of being able to handle very high resolution sculpting without much slowing that is almost magical. Blender isn’t at that level…yet….but a full redesign is in the works: https://twitter.com/pablodp606/status/1309556563787550720

Thanks for the reply. Partly solved the problem by using new UVs for seams with height and normal maps.
