can this knowledge be transferred to blender 2.8?

I want to apply this to blender 2.8, but it says it’s for blender 2.69

Looks like not much has changed. Only in stead of Blender Render (which is no longer in 2.8), use Eevee.

Actually, it even works in Cycles now, but that is very slow. I wouldn’t recommend that for Freestyle;)

That’s interesting to hear @spikeyxxx. I haven’t played with Freestyle rendering in several years. We need to look into updating this course / topic for 2.8.
