      I’m not sure if I missed a parent operation or what.

      When I select the base bone and move, only the bone moves. When I select the bottom squash bone, only it moves.

      What have I missed?

        It seems like you need the “base_def_in” to be parented to the “bottom squash” and then have the “bottom squash” parented to the “Base”.

        The “Top squash” will also be parented to the “Base”.
