      How does it suddenly become the same size as the outer cylinder? I don’t see a screenkeys S operation

        I’m not quite sure what you mean. Can you link me to a certain part of the video? You can grab a link to a specific time in a video with the clock icon in the upper left corner of the video player:

          @digdoug … It appears that Kent has snapping set up to affect scaling and presses the CTRL key to snap the cylinder to the other cylinder. It also appears that the S key press may have been unintentionally edited out of the video because he is definitely scaling when he pressed the CTRL key.

          @theluthier … Kent, please correct me if this is not accurate.

            That sounds very plausible but I still don’t know exactly what part of the video we’re talking about. It’s quite hard to remember all the little aspects of all my vids 😅

              Oh sorry, I thought I had linked the time frame when asking the question. I’m new to the site.
              I think Paul is correct, a screenkey was accidentally edited out because there was definitely a scaling operation.

                At 13:40, the inner cylinder is scaled at 1.0, while at 13:45 it is scaled to 1.183.

                I got stuck on this as well and just copied the scaling values manually (1.183) to proceed.
