Yeah i kind of forgot to pay attention at that point, i was so into it lol

I found later that it was an earlier cut that caused it, it was not a straight cut, so had a pixel or two still attached that caused twisting to occur, and i was a bit miffed for a second or twenty, as i thought “oh dear, ive screwed this up now”, “not sure i have enough undo’s to get back to where i made the mistake”, but i took cue from you guys and 3D Tudor too, (i am doing a course i purchased from him also “Stylised Environments with Blender Geometry Nodes”) as you all look at the problem and try to find as optimal a solution as possible, albeit with much more experience than i have, but still, im happy that i tried, and i thought about what could work as a solution that wouldnt cause more issues, and thats what i landed upon

Glad to hear i was on the right track, and now i have also remembered that the more undo levels you have, isnt always better, but it helps in a pinch, even if it means redoing a lot of intricate work, although thankfully the Press-Start tutorial does not, but is a great little tutorial none-the-less

Thanks for responding and sorry for my delay getting back to you, i have been so engrossed in a course for a few days now that i forgot to look up to see there were message alerts lol, i shall pay more attention to the screen cast and the last operation dialog box too in future, completely forgot about those in the moment tbh
